A sell-off in US markets accelerated on Wednesday, after tech stocks suffered their steepest falls in almost a month the previous day.
The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite index fell 1.6 per cent while the blue-chip S&P 500 dropped 0.8 per cent.
Nvidia fell 3.2 per cent, while Palantir Technologies dropped 7.4 per cent and Arm Holdings lost 4.5 per cent.
