Morgan Stanley is offering its flagship Hong Kong investor summit as a virtual event this year, as fears of coronavirus deter companies from holding large events near China.
“The summit will now be a virtual event,” a New York based spokesman told the FT, confirming an earlier report on Bloomberg.
He could not immediately confirm how many investors typically attend. Morgan Stanley is also asking visitors to its Broadway headquarters if they have been to China in the last 14 days, two people familiar with the situation told the FT.
