At least 19 people were killed in Hong Kong after a double-decker bus overturned, in the former British colony’s deadliest bus crash in almost 15 years.
Authorities said the bus was travelling from Sha Tin racecourse to Tai Po in the Chinese special administrative region’s New Territories when it overturned on a corner.
The fatal crash, which occurred at 6.15pm on Saturday following the day’s races at the Sha Tin track, killed 15 men and four women, and injured more than 60 others.
