A Big Brother approach has qualities that would benefit society

With IT, humanity has practically created an electronic god much like the deities it previously invented, as I argued in a recent column on how companies stalk employees’ social media accounts.

This god can harvest a huge amount of information from big data on which to judge us, from our friendship choices and purchasing preferences to our political views and drinking habits.
