Iranian president Hassan Rouhani said that marathon negotiations between world powers and Iran over its nuclear ambitions have produced a agreement on “parameters”, with a more detailed accord to be thrashed out by the end of June.
“Solutions on key parameters of Iran #nuclear case reached. Drafting to start immediately, to finish by June 30th,” Mr Rouhani tweeted on Thursday evening.
Mohammed Javad Zarif, Iran’s foreign minister, similiarly tweeted: “Found solutions. Read to start drafting immediately.”
