Missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 was "travelling faster than previously estimated" and authorities have redirected their search efforts based on this new information.
The Australian Maritime Safety Authority said new radar data from the international investigation team is its "most credible lead" to finding debris from the aircraft.
The new data suggests the aircraft was "travelling faster than previously estimated, resulting in increased fuel usage and reducing the possible distance the aircraft travelled south into the Indian Ocean," AMSA said.
