UK PM’s overhaul of team marks a political shift to the right

Boris Johnson’s “reset” of his Downing Street operation began on Monday with the prime minister singing Gloria Gaynor’s I Will Survive, in an unlikely duet with his new communications chief, Guto Harri.

With many Tory MPs still openly discussing moves to oust the prime minister, Johnson needs his new team in Number 10 to turn things round quickly, after months of chaos at the heart of the British government.
