WuXi AppTec has lodged a claim against the Department of Defense following its addition to a list of companies associated with the Chinese military.

Under the complaint, filed Thursday with the US District Court for the District of Columbia, Shanghai-headquartered WuXi AppTec is requesting to be removed from the 1260H list of the US National Defense Authorization Act, noting its inclusion was “erroneous and unsupported by the facts,” according to a Friday filing on the Hong Kong exchange.
