Vinay Prasad, the controversial head of the FDA’s vaccines and biologics division, will leave the agency, a government official confirmed to Endpoints News.
It’s the second time Prasad has left the FDA, after a tumultuous tenure that has spanned much of the Trump administration. Over and over again, Prasad has found himself at the center of controversial decisions, such as overruling staff on a flu vaccine.
