The bosses of Britain’s biggest companies are staying away from Reform UK’s conference this week, despite the party’s growing lead in opinion polls.
The two-day conference at the NEC, which starts on Friday, is due to be packed with public affairs representatives, sent by their companies to find out more about the party and its policies.
But most said that chief executives were still too nervous to attend Reform’s event in case their presence was seen as support for a divisive party.
