Ukraine and Russia have agreed a tentative deal to restore the supply of natural gas at talks in Berlin today.
Ukraine has agreed to pay a total of $3.1bn to Russia's Gazprom for outstanding invoices by the end of this year.
In return, Gazprom will supply five billion cubic metres of natural gas. reports the FT's Jeevan Vasagar.
