Executives around the world say governments in China, India and Russia have become less friendly towards business over the past three months, reversing gains seen earlier in the year, according to the FT/Economist Global Business Barometer survey.
Of the world’s four largest emerging market economies, only Brazil saw ratings for business friendliness improve in the quarterly poll of more than 1,500 senior executives.
The survey comes amid concerns that growth in Brazil, Russia, India and China – together known as the Brics – is slowing.
