Lord Peter Mandelson, the UK’s ambassador to the US, has expressed regret for continuing his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein “for far longer than I should have done” and predicted that more embarrassing revelations will surface.
The Labour peer said in an interview with the Sun that a trove of correspondence could still be published that would show his close friendship with the convicted paedophile.
“I have no doubt at all that there’s a lot of traffic, correspondence [exchanges] between us absolutely. And we know those are going to surface. We know they’re going to come out,” he said.
